In the heart of Hellerup, Denmark, the one-star Michelin restaurant The Samuel, embarked on a remarkable journey to turn their dream into a reality – a wine cellar that would not only house their precious collection but also become a captivating narrative for their guests. The vision was clear: to craft a wine cellar that tantalized curiosity, exuded elegance, and added value for both its owners and their visitors. The key was to strike a harmonious balance between aesthetics, functionality, and customer-centricity. This was the genesis of Crucave – a wine cellar that would not only protect but also pamper the invaluable wines it sheltered.

ONE STAR MICHELIN WINE CELLARS

The Crucave wine cellars is a triumph of design and functionality, boasting three unique spaces that artfully blend storytelling, meticulous detailing, and unparalleled utility.

The Bulldog – Champagne Room:
The inspiration for this opulent chamber came from Pernille, the restaurant manager and sommelier, who shared her favorite champagne, “Pure, Pol Roger.” In response, “The Bulldog” Champagne Room was born, drawing its design cues from Pol Roger’s renowned Champagne cellar. This space pays homage to the art of champagne and an extensive collection of Dom Pérignon in fact the widest north of Paris. To cater to the distinct requirements of these special Dom Pérignon bottles an innovative corner module, that showcases an impressive capacity, was designed and tailored. The cellar is furnished with tailor-made wine racks in natural oak and elegant marble countertops.

The Cellar – The Grand Red Wine Sanctuary:
“The Cellar” stands as the ultimate haven for red wine enthusiasts. With a spacious layout, a central worktable, a dedicated decanting station, and custom wine racks, it’s the epitome of elegance and functionality. The cellar is adorned with Crucave’s smoked oak racks, beautiful brass clips and black marble countertops radiating sophistication and luxury.

The Cellar – The Hidden Gem:
Tucked away in the cozy confines of The Cellar the hidden Gem contains a selection of secret treasures that are allowed to mature in splendid isolation. This compact wine cellar is reserved for those “hidden” bottles, ensuring they receive the care and attention they so deserve.
